Sorry! Plus, Google Knows Me

 SORRY!!!!

I'm really sorry. I've just been really exhausted lately and it's hard enough doing what I need to do, extra things like this are just beyond me lately.

I had planned to do a month of Pride this June again, but I think I have to leave it behind. For a very good reason.

Google knows me. It knows what I click. It knows to send me links to 83 science articles a day and I will click them to bookmark them even if I don't read them immediately. When I set up Patreon, it will be spent getting me subscriptions so I can read more of those, since I don't have the money to buy the subscriptions on my own.

But that's not what you need to know about right now.

The article that I clicked and had to read and now has me really wanting to share is this one from IFL Science. It discusses the new discovery of TREE DWELLING SHRIMP.

Take a moment and read that again, just to be sure you got it right.

A science expedition into the Cyclops Mountains of Indonesia found a shrimp in the middle of the forest, thriving.

Apparently they managed to survive and adapt because of the humidity and the heavy rainfall of the area. This wasn't just a few hundred meters from the water, this is hundreds of yards up a mountain.

And apparently, the cherry on top is that these shrimpies jump around instead of swimming, and I can't help but giggle at the thought of wandering the woods (even if they do have a nickname of 'Green Hell' like these particular woods do) and watching a shrimp jump from a branch like a squirrel.

You can probably now understand why this made me feel the need to share. I might not have a lot of information right now, but that didn't stop me from from wanting to share with everyone after I followed the link of scientific click-bait. My favorite kind.

I'll hopefully be back soon with information about more things, because the world of science is awesome and I can't wait to share more.
